Indigenous: IMPACT Virtual Info Session
Please join us for a free, virtual info session about Indigenous: IMPACT (Incubator Music Program Audio Content Touring), hosted by Manitoba Music. Indigenous: IMPACT is a funding and mentorship program designed to assist new and emerging Manitoba-based Indigenous artists launch a broad range of music initiatives to develop their careers.
Session date: Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 12 p.m.

Safer Studios | Respectful Workplace Training
As part of an ongoing commitment to supporting informed spaces work in the audio production community, Manitoba Music, Manitoba Film & Music (MFM), and Women in Music Canada are hosting a free in-person session on respectful workplace training for studios in Manitoba.

In-person attendance is encouraged, virtual attendance will be available on request
Taking the Safer Studios training is now a requirement for Manitoba Film & Music Accredited Recording Services. The training will be offered twice annually, and current Accredited Recording Services are required to have a staff person participate in the training within two years (by July 31, 2026). If you were granted an extension in April 2026, you are required to participate in the November 5, 2026 training session to maintain your accreditation with MFM.
Produce program – January 21st deadline - applications open
Applications for MFM’s Produce programs are now open. This includes Produce Level 1 - Demo, Produce Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Produce—Out-of-Province Artist programs. MFM's music programs are designed to support the production of commercially viable music recording products by the Manitoba music recording industry.
Next application deadline: January 21, 2027 at 5 p.m.

If not yet registered in the portal, please find further information on how to access the portal here. Please read the guide and watch the video prior to creating your profile.
